When a calculator returns an error
Check required fields, units and supported ranges. Enter six percent as 6, and use whole months where the field requests months. A blank is not the same as an explicit zero. Errors explain the input problem; they are not lending decisions.
When two quotes differ
Confirm the net amounts, financed charges, term, other housing costs and holding period. A different loan amount can make a simple cost comparison misleading. Review variable-rate and special loan structures outside the fixed-rate quote tool.
When a product is not suitable
Return to the selector or use the alternatives on the product page. A listed route is not an eligibility decision. The real lender must review the borrower, property, state and intended use.
